The Retreads are a vocal/instrumental band specializing in classic, danceable pop tunes from the 60s through the 90s. Cofounders Dan Cummings (guitar) and Robert Lipscomb (keyboards) began playing together in the year 2000 and have built a large repertoire of familiar and enduring songs. They are joined regularly by Judy Cummings on vocals and Beat Buddy on drums. The Retreads have played at the Minnesota State Fair, county fairs, and popular Twin Cities destinations including Sea Salt Eatery, VFWs, and American Legions. The hallmarks of a Retreads performance are tight vocal harmonies, tasteful instrumentation, and upbeat songs that make people want to dance. The band is available for bookings at Twin Cities entertainment venues and private functions. We look forward to making 2024 our best year yet!
